Level Descriptions

Below you’ll find a short description of our levels.

The teaching and level varies from instructor to instructor, depending on their individual methods. We always recommend taking a trial class to get the best sense of which class suits you best.

beginner level

Beginner level is a great place to start if you’ve never danced before. You’ll have the opportunity to explore and develop your skills while connecting more deeply with your body. You’ll receive a thorough introduction to the style, basic steps, and rhythms in a safe and supportive environment. More experienced dancers are also welcome if you wish to dive into fundamental work and details.

open level

Open level is suitable for dancers of all levels. The instructor teaches steps and choreography with a focus on movement quality, ensuring that everyone benefits from the class. If you’re completely new, it’s like jumping onto a moving train – be ready to join something already in motion. With the wide range of experience among participants, you’ll quickly notice your own progress and be swept up by the energy and atmosphere. The class is adapted to the group, giving you the chance to challenge yourself at your own pace.

Intermediate

Intermediate level is for those who already have body awareness. You don’t need prior knowledge of the style, but it’s expected that you’ve danced before or have other movement experience. The focus is on technique, timing, and performance, and you’ll be challenged both choreographically and musically. You’ll have the opportunity to refine your skills and expand your movement repertoire.
