Alky Plus
Alky is a dancer and choreographer from Guinea Conakry, trained both on the renowned dance scene in Conakry and, in 2014, at the National Guinean Art Academy “Institut Supérieur des Arts de Guinée,” specializing in traditional Guinean dance and rhythms.
He is the director and choreographer of Ballet Foniké, one of the largest traditional dance groups in Guinea, as well as dance leader for the modern dance and theatre group Tawuly Creation. In 2012, he founded his own dance company in Dubreka, Guinea, called Compagnie Alkhaly Camara, which has been active in Copenhagen since 2018, when Alky moved to Denmark.
Alky has many years of experience teaching children, youth, and adults at all levels.

Atif
Atif, better known as Atif The Great, is a dancer, choreographer, performer, and content creator from Zanzibar. Dance has been part of his life since childhood, which is reflected in his immense talent.
As he beautifully puts it:
“I didn’t choose dance — it chose me. It’s how I express joy, pain, love, and freedom. It has helped me through so much in life, and it continues to guide me every day. Dance isn’t just movement for me — it’s healing, it’s connection, it’s life. I feel most alive when I dance, and I love sharing that feeling with others.”
Atif’s classes are more than just learning steps – they’re a whole vibe. He brings rhythm, culture, and vibrant energy into the room, creating a space where people feel free, confident, and deeply connected to the music.
For Atif, dance isn’t something we just do – it’s something we feel. And in his classes, you’ll definitely feel it!
Atif teaches Afro Fusion [Open Level]
Cece
Cece is an experienced dancehall dancer and instructor. She has danced most of her life, but when she discovered dancehall in 2010, her dance journey truly took off. Since 2012, Cece has trained intensively and performed – first with Vuvuzela Dance Crew and later by forming her own crews, including Iduna in 2016, whose members are now instructors themselves.
Cece has mastered both the male and female styles of dancehall. She was one of the first in Denmark to specialize in and teach Dancehall Queen style, a more expressive and acrobatic female form focusing on twerking techniques and tricks.
Through her many trips to Jamaica, Cece has continuously expanded her knowledge of dancehall culture and seizes every opportunity to grow. In Jamaica, she has performed in various music videos for renowned dancehall artists such as Mr. Vegas, RDX, Kalado, Chi Ching Ching, Savage, and Road Elf. She has also opened for major international stars like Busy Signal, Spice, Kranium, and Popcaan at concerts in Copenhagen.
Cece is a skilled teacher with many years of experience at evening schools, boarding schools, dance camps/events, and dance programs. Her classes are packed with energy and focus on fun, curiosity, respect, and love for dancehall culture.
At World Dance Academy, her classes focus on male/unisex steps, groove, and choreography – where anything can happen!

Colosal Titan
Colosal Titan, also known as Rash, is a versatile dancer originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, where dance has always been a natural part of his culture. In 2005, he founded La Folie Crew – a dance company focusing on political dance theatre, using dance as a form of activism. Colosal Titan moved to Denmark in 2013, where he has toured across the country, sharing his personal story and raising awareness of the political situation in Congo through dance.
In addition to touring and performing dance theatre, Colosal has organized and won numerous competitions and battles. In his home country, he won several breakdance championships between 2008 and 2013, both as a solo dancer and as part of his crew. In 2016, Colosal Titan reached the Top 4 at the Danish Breakdance Championships (DM breakdance). He has performed with international artists such as Singuila (France), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), and Mims Beyana (USA).
Since moving to Denmark, Colosal has been a regular instructor at World Dance Academy.
Colosal Titan teaches Ndombolo [Open Level], Afro Basic [Open Level], Afro Choreo [Intermediate], Afro House [Open Level], as well as Makasi Crew.
He also teaches Afro and Breakdance for children at Global Kidz.
DATIF THE GREAT
Datif is a professional dancer and instructor from Zanzibar, Tanzania. Dance plays a major role in his life, and his mission is to inspire others by sharing his energy and passion for African dance and culture. With many years of experience teaching and performing in Zanzibar, Datif has specialized in Afrobeats, Amapiano, Ndombolo, and traditional African dance. He is now based in Denmark, where he continues to teach, perform, create social media content, and evolve as a dancer and choreographer.
As a member of the UNLOCKED crew, Datif has led workshops and performed at major events in Copenhagen, including Sort Distortion and with Nigerian artist 1da Banton. He has also won dance battles such as Culture Clash Dance Battle at Roskilde Festival and Check Breaking Style in Zanzibar.
Every step he takes celebrates African culture and spreads his love of dance – something that shines through in his classes, where it’s impossible not to be lifted by his infectious energy.
Datif teaches our new classes Afro Fusion [Beginner], Afro Fusion [Intermediate], Amapiano [Beginner] and Amapiano [Intermediate]. He also teaches Global Legacy, Elite Crew.
Emma MinelLa
As a member of the Iduna dance crew, Emma represents a new generation of Dancehall instructors.
She graduated from Gaardbodans in 2017 and travels regularly to Jamaica to deepen her knowledge of Dancehall culture.

Francis Switch brako
Francis “Switch” Brako is a professional dancer and choreographer from Ghana, now based in Denmark. With an extensive dance career, Switch has won numerous dance battles and competitions, performed with major artists, and even ran his own dance school in Sweden. Since 2011, he has travelled to Ghana every year to immerse himself in local dance culture and follow the evolution of dancers, techniques, and steps there. Three years ago, he founded his own Akwaaba Dance Camp, based in Ghana and Sweden.
In Switch’s classes, the focus is on Ghanaian steps, vibe, and groove. The Azonto dance, originating from “Apaa” (meaning “to work”), was originally used to represent a person’s occupation. Over time, Azonto has evolved into a more expressive and communicative dance form. Join Switch’s class every Wednesday to experience and learn this dynamic Ghanaian dance style on his Afro team.

Sandra Sebit
Sandra Sebit is a versatile dancer with a background in styles such as hip hop, jazz, afro, and ballet. She began teaching at just 15 years old and quickly discovered that her heart belonged to the many African dance styles. Inspired by music videos, Sandra has developed her own take on Afro Fusion, characterized by grooves, performance, and above all, the joy that fills the room when she dances.
Sandra has performed with various artists at major festivals, including AGGi and Amna Naseer.
Her classes are filled with positive energy, and she is known as a true mood-lifter. You can expect a fun, energetic, and educational Afro Fusion class — and definitely to work up a sweat!

Every Thursday, you have a unique opportunity to train with some of the most talented Jamaican Dancehall dancers — right in the heart of Copenhagen! You’ll learn directly from the source, gaining a wide repertoire of steps from different Dancehall crews, along with insight into the history and cultural roots of the dance.
The instructor will rotate between different Jamaican teachers, depending on availability — giving you the chance to experience a variety of authentic Dancehall expressions.

Gage Rifical
Instructor, choreographer, and mentor Gage Rifical is from Kingston, Jamaica, and a member of the world-renowned Dancehall crew. Gage and his team played a major role in shaping Dancehall culture during the mid-school era (2007–2011). With their groove and hardcore authentic moves, they have dominated street culture both nationally and internationally.
Rifical Gage is a popular dancer across Europe and an experienced teacher for all levels. He is now based in Denmark, serves as coach for our elite crew Global Legacy, and organizes Dancehall workshops and trips to Jamaica.
Mbaye art
Mbaye Art is a dancer, choreographer, and percussionist from Dakar, Senegal. He has completed formal dance training in traditional Senegalese dances such as Sabar and Djembe, as well as in modern dance, ballet, jazz, and dance pedagogy. Mbaye has extensive experience teaching both Senegalese and international dancers, bringing vibrant energy and a positive spirit to his classes.
Sabar dance is an energetic and expressive dance style full of humor and playfulness. It is performed on major stages and festivals around the world, as well as during life celebrations such as naming ceremonies, weddings, and birthdays. Sabar is also the foundation of the popular dance moves seen in Senegal’s modern mbalax music videos, where traditional rhythms meet contemporary sounds.
Michelle Nóbrega pitt
Michelle Nóbrega Pitt is a teacher, choreographer, and professional dancer, born and raised in Brazil. She holds a degree in social pedagogy, co-founded the dance school Aquarela, and has more than 23 years of teaching experience. Michelle has performed at festivals and on TV shows, and has toured with the band TV2. Today, she is known as Mestra Michelle in the Brazilian group Extilo Faixa International.

Owayoua
Owayoua, also known as Nadine Zaucou, has roots in the Ivory Coast and in recent years has specialized in Afro and West African dance styles. As a member of the Afro crew @unlockedcrew, she has performed for and with major artists such as Diamond Platnumz, L.A.X, 1da Banton, Baby Boy AV, JJ Paulo, Joanita Zachariasen, and Zeblack, and has appeared at numerous Afro events while winning several dance battles.
In Nadine’s classes, her main goal is to help students break out of their shell and create a safe and supportive space for learning and exploring the world of Afro dance. Her teaching includes steps and choreography, but also provides historical and cultural context for understanding the dance.

Natasha Jacoby
Natasha Jacoby has specialized in Dancehall, which she has danced since 2016. She continuously seeks new knowledge to stay up to date, training both in Jamaica and locally in Copenhagen. Natasha has won several competitions in Copenhagen with her former crew Iduna, and has danced for upcoming artists and as a warm-up act for concerts featuring Kranium, Charly Black, and Ayra Starr.
Natasha has been teaching at World Dance Academy (WDA) since 2022. As an instructor, she strives to create a safe, empowering space where students can grow, challenge themselves, and have fun, all while honoring and respecting the culture they are guests in.

Veronica Magnani
Veronica has lived and traveled in Jamaica for the past eight years, giving her a unique opportunity to immerse herself deeply in the culture and learn directly from some of the best Dancehall dancers on the island.
